Two hats

I picked up a sample skein of (gorgeous) locally grown and processed brown cashmere at a fiber festival last week.  I initially bought it to test the yarn for bigger projects, but we'll see if I can actually get more.  Since the skein was so small, I blended it with some creamy organic merino I had and knit two hats.  The first one came out waaaaay...too small.  The second one turned out just right.  Hat #2 (on the right) is my first completed fairisle piece.  It figures, when I finally decide I want to knit fairisle on my machine, the pattern reader breaks.  I'm hoping to bring it up up to the knit machine doctor in Vancouver, but until then I am hand selecting all my takes forever, ugh.
